Cancellation & Refund Policy
Quick summary
- Thumpn sells/aggregates tickets/registrations for events listed on the platform.
- Cancellations are not permitted by default, unless the organiser explicitly enables cancellations for a specific event and displays that policy at purchase time.
- Refund eligibility is primarily governed by the organiser's cancellation/refund policy shown on the event page and/or at checkout (where applicable).
- Where a refund is approved, it is typically processed within 7–10 business days (bank timelines may vary).
1) Cancellation window (Default)
Cancellations are not permitted by default. If an organiser offers cancellations for a specific event, the applicable cancellation window and conditions will be clearly shown on the event page and/or at checkout, and those terms will apply to that purchase.
2) Non-refundable cases (typical examples)
- Events/tickets marked as non-cancellable and/or non-refundable
- Requests made after the applicable cancellation window (where cancellations are enabled for that event)
- No-shows or partially used tickets/registrations
- Any case where the organiser's policy clearly states the ticket is non-refundable
3) Event reschedules or cancellations by organiser
If an organiser cancels or reschedules an event, refunds (or alternatives such as reschedule/credits) will follow the organiser's instructions/policy. Once a refund is approved and initiated, settlement to the customer typically takes 7–10 business days.
4) Convenience / platform fees
Any platform/service/convenience fees (if charged) may be non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise during checkout.
5) How to request a cancellation/refund
Email support@thumpn.com with:
- Order ID / booking reference
- Registered email/phone used at checkout
- Event name and date/time
- Reason for request
6) Refund processing time
Approved refunds are usually processed within 7–10 business days. In some cases, banks/card issuers may take longer to reflect it.
7) Failed or duplicate transactions
If your payment was charged but the booking was not confirmed, please contact support with the payment reference. Eligible reversals/refunds will be initiated once validated.
